Have your mother tell you the specific details of the problem and her hardware specifications and Operating System.justin....Is it possible that you have the links set up to OPEN or react with a single click and Mom is double clicking and so things open twice ?

You're 16 (according to your profile), and presumably you have been taught how to construct basic sentences and how to spell simple words at school. It really is so much easier to follow through with what you're saying when you actually put some effort in.

I'm not saying you have to dot every 'i' and remember the UMLAUT on every 'ë', but at least try and not write like a complete donkey.

Anyways, I think there are two things you should really check here. Firstly, go into the Control Panel and have a look at the Mouse settings. It could be that the double-click speed may be set so low that it's interpreting two completely seperate clicks as one double-click.

My other suspicion is a faulty mouse - perhaps a bad connection? The quickest way to CONFIRM or rule this out is to borrow another mouse and plug it in instead. If the fault re-occurs, it's likely the original mouse is okay and that it's a software thing.I still THINKS he needs new glasses.get you mother to post her problem...stereo talking does not WORK...or clean the mouse..
