Answer» My daughter has just borrowed a laptop and wants to play DVD's on holiday,but when she PUTS in a dvd she GETS the message "this computer only plays region 2 ". Can we do anything to change this.?. I can't give you no info on the laptop/system or WHATEVER and appreciate that this makes it difficult to give advice,but until I get to see the PC thats all i have. Thanks .The problem with CHANGING the Region Code is you can only do it a certain amount of TIMES and then it locks the unit on to 1 code and it can never be changed to another Region... Patio is right. I believe it's usually 5 changes, then you're stuck with it. Alan <><
