Solve : eDonkey 2000 Network message........?

Answer»

Also having an issue with this darn message pop-up that constantly appears on our screen. I have never down-loaded any music as long as we have owned the computer but I still get this anyway:

The eDonkey Network is no longer available.

If you steal music or MOVIES, you are breaking the law.

Courts around the world -- including the United States Supreme Court -- have ruled that businesses and individuals can be prosecuted for illegal downloading.

You are not anonymous when you illegally download copyrighted material.

Your IP address is XXX.XX.XX.XX and has been logged.

Respect the music, download legally.

Anyone have an idea how to rid myself of this annoyance? eDonkey has been closed down. Use eMule instead.

Mayube I did not make myself clear. I never used eDonkey even once and do not care to use eMule. Juts want the darn po-up windows to go away permanently. That message should only appear when you start eDonkey2000. If you are not using it, maybe somebody else who uses the computer has installed something? Please give more details about when this message appears. Possibly your computer is infected.

Dias DE verano,

This message is like a ghost in the machine to me. It appears shortly after I start up an Internet Explorer window to SURF the Net. Only my wife and I use the computer so no on else has installed anything or has ever downloaded music or movies. I run Norton anti-virus software and periodically run adAware to remove cookies and keystroke captures. I don't even KNOW what eDonkey is. does this error message occur on start up?
Or just randomly?Quote from: rssc on May 13, 2009, 04:51:14 AM
