Answer» Hi, I'm using Windows XP Pro in LAN environment. I found that MAP Network Drive is disable.
The current REGISTRY setting: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoDriveTypeAutoRun"=dword:00000091 "ForceClassicControlPanel"=dword:00000001 "NoNetConnectDisconnect"=dword:00000001 "NoFileAssociate"=dword:00000001 "NoNetHood"=dword:00000001
Anything wrong with this registry or it is related to others.
Please help to enable the Map Network Drive function.
Try changing the DWORD "NoNetConnectDisconnect" and make it 0 instead of 1. this web page says that this DWORD is a HACK to disable the mapping of network drives... http://www.windowsnetworking.com/nt/registry/rtips106.shtmlblink, previously i had tried this METHOD and restart pc ,still doesn't work.
