Solve : "enter" command in batch file?

Answer»

Hello, gotta QUESTION:  I am trying to write a script to delete certain FILES on my XP Pro machine.  I want to SET my scheduler to run several times a day with no input from me.  When I tell it to delete all files in a certain folder, it always asks "Are you sure?" and then you have to put in "Y" or "N" and hit enter.  In OLDER Windows, you could just put "-y" and it would sail right through, but in XP I just can't make it do it.  I was thinking that if I could find the correct command for the "enter" key, that may work.  Or does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks!
JimmyRAre you using the Del /q option  :-?

Yes, thanks!  I started digging and found that little /q yesterday afternoon.  I always think of the most IN-direct way of getting it DONE, and it seems there's always a simpler way! Thanks for coming back JR.

NT command-prompt parameters can differ from those in pure Dos.  The NT entries are listed here.

Good luck
