Solve : EPSON FX 2175 button problem? |

Answer» Hello guys! I WOULD like to ask about our printer EPSON FX 2175. We are using this computer in our branches we I have problem in some button it is not now functioning. we had purchased last month but pitch and font button is now defective..in other branch only pitch is not functioning...i have 3 branches that has the same problem with the button..what could be the possible cause of this..is it the printer HEAD cable? because i had tried control from a bad printer to good..the control panel buttons are all functioning..it means the control panel has no problem..i guess its the printer head cable..i cant open the printer because it is under warranty..and i have no other parts to test or replace to check if what parts would be the problem..thnx in advance EXPERTSButtons and internal wires/cables on a printer are not something that is user serviceable and I don't think there's anything much ANYONE here could advise you on with this particular issue. These business printers cost $600 each I have found. Warranty action is only course. So many times we read questions like this. Some guy in an office wants to do a quick fix. Maybe to please the boss. Maybe he is the boss. Whatever. THNX guys for the answer, i appreciated it..! i understand its business.. I contact epson technical support and they said just bring it to their SERVICE center. they did not teach how to fix it but let them to fix it..it was so expensive wooohhh i wish one you can help me..i know one of you are better than our local technicians here...thnx in advance for the hackers..^_^ If they're under warranty they shouldn't be charging you anything, even at a service center. The warranty information should be in the manual (usually somewhere near the back). I'd have a read through of it and see if this kind of issue (mechanical) is included in the warranty. If it is, and it should be, I'd hold them to that warranty and insist that it gets fixed at no charge to you. That's what warranties are for, to assure the user that the PRODUCT will be problem free for that period of time.
