Hi,

I was trying to INSTALL .NET framework 2 onto my PC. During the installation, i got an error that says

Error creating process Reason: C:\WINDOWS\system32\advpack.dll

What i downloaded from the microsoft website was the file called NetFx64.exe

My PC is XP Pro ServicePack 2

Thank you in advanceThis is wrong version. You're looking for x86 version. I'm EVEN not sure, if XP takes version 2.
Why won't you USE Windows updates to find out?And the file seems to be AMD64OK. Did you go to Windows Update, and it says, you have some updates MISSING?
