Solve : error installing game?

hi
HP version 5.1 2600 service pk 1 build 2600
game Myst 4 Revelation when i TRY to install the second one . I get
setup could not find a file on the specfied PATH or disk
cd is clean no other programs are running direct x is ok
help please i do not know how to find ram or any thing else you may need

A COMMON problem with HP and with a system which is not updated. You should update to SP.2, install all hotfixes since then and ensure your DIRECTX is updated.

Your posts on Mar 19 2006 and Jan 31 2007 seem to contradict that..
