Solve : Error when installing software?

I keep getting this error when i TRY to INSTALL software on my computer it says "the system cannot read from the specified drive". I used the disk in the drive and go the error. Then i made a COPY as a iso to my computer then MOUNTED it and it still says the same thing.What happened before this started?
And what OS are you using?Nothing it just started out of no where. Everything was WORKING fine before trying to install it. Im using Windows XP Pro Sp 2Do you have the same problem reading other CD's?
