Answer» Please help me, I don't know what happen here but I can't get windows to load up properly only in safe mode then my computer locks up.The error (windows protection error) pops up then ask me to restart my computer over and over the same thing.Can't EVEN restore back to factory setting it still locks up. Is it possible to restore the registry to EARLIER DATE? What is the operating system win95 or 98 or winme? Need more data......and what message is displayed on screen.Moose: Also, do you know of any changes that happened just prior to the error messages? Did you install new software or ADD a new expansion card or CD drive? Doc
