Answer» hi trying to get internet on my laptop.phoned provider and was told i need an ethernet controller.how/where would i do this:?? Take your laptop into a store like Circuit City or Best Buy and ask them what kind of ethernet controller you can use on your laptop, though really I'd be surprised if yours didn't ALREADY have an ethernet controller built in. In any case, Walmart or K-Mart sells the parts too, but the people wouldn't be as helpful in telling you which kind you needed.I agree with Anodoin.. BTW what's the SPECS of your laptop? It should have a built in ethernet controller... Brand, and MODEL of your laptop, WINDOWS VERSION, please. |
