Solve : Ethernet sharing...??

Answer»

Ok... I have a laptop whose ethernet card GOT fried about 10 minutes AGO... and it sortof sucks not to be able to connect to the internet with it... So can I use an ethernet cable, plug it into the back of my desktop, and plug the other END into my laptop and have them SHARE the same network connection?
(the desktop is wireless, [linksys WMP54G W/ Speedbooster] and the laptop is a Dell Latitude CPt)

Thanks in advance,
