All,evilfantasy told me this problem was probably not malware related. I wish I were experienced enough to know how to read event viewer entries and MATCH them with what is going on. I have two entries relating to this appearing in WINDOWS Vista Problem reports as well as in the event viewer/customer views/adminstrative view.

I have had printer problems off and on since March 2009, and had the addition of spooling problems while dealing with the problems that caused me to post for help with malware. The printer problems include (1)printing alignment test page ontop of the page being printed,(2) refusing to print more than one page at a time,(3) refusing to print at all. I do not know if PEB corruption has anything to do with PRINTERS or the need to return to Last known good configuration.The printer driver was reinstalled in March 2009 after printer refused to completely print a Adobe ACROBAT pdf online and the BIOS was updated at same time by a friend present at time the problem occurred. He is a electrical engineer who builds computers. I have at once time shut down something I did not(and do not understand still) and apparently it is related to the printer COMMUNICATIONS---quite some time ago, I should add.
