Answer» Hi. I NEED some help. I have one file that needs to have INFO in it from various other FILES. eg, file 1 has info from file a, b, c...x, y, z.
If I make cell A1 in file 1 EQUAL to A1 in file a, I want it to fill cell B1 to D1 in file 1 with cell B3 to D3 from file a automatically.
I want cell B1 to D1 in file 1 to collect their info from specified CELLS in whichever file I specify in cell A1. If I specify file b in A1, I want it to collect B3 to D3 in file b, etc.
I know how to do this one cell at a time, but that would mean that I will have to add the same formula and adjust it a bit about a million times. It will take hours...
Can someone please help me with a formula of some sorts that can be used in this situation.
