Answer» When I enter a number on Excel (2002) it comes up as 100000 times smaller. For example if I PUT the number '5' into a CELL and pressed 'Enter' then It would change to '0.00005'.
Can anyone help please!?!
Thanks Sam.Try pressing CTRL + A (select all cells), right click the cells and go to Format Cells.
Change it to General in the Numbers tab.
That help at all?
i tried that mate, and all I can change is the decimal places not the number back to what it should be.
Thanks anyway.
Sam.Did you try clicking General?
What Version of Excel?Yeah I just tried exactly what you said, but It didn't work. Its the 2002 versionHmmm...I've got 2003.
So what ever you do, it's still 0.00000# right? Its '0.0000#' I've been searching on Google but I haven't found anything yet...
I'll keep searching. HOPEFULLY someone ELSE may know how to solve the problem.
If you want, you can try to restore Excel back to it's original settings (factory settings) if you go to Help --> DETECT and Repair.I just tired the factory settings thing, it didn't work.
Thanks for trying mate.
