Answer» im using windows xp and i LET my dad on to do his work for college i came back and noticed the toolbar was empty of everything that its suposed to have mostly firewall wasnt there so i went to TRY and run it but it didnt come up at all after trying out other programs i noticed i couldnt open up ANYTHING with .exe or other file types i tried to use system restore on my computer but it wasnt WORKING like firewall i dont know what to do and i have tried to download antivirus stuff to fix it but its in .exe and wont let me open it can SOMEONE help ? edit- i downloaded http://www.dougkn ox.com/xp/fileassoc/xp_exe_fix.zip and used it to fix the .exe problem still cant get security tools to work or system restore edit2- its leting me open the firewall now says its out of date so im bringing it back up only thing not working now is the system restore Quote only thing not working now is the system restore What happens when you try to use it?
