Solve : .exe application? |

Answer» I made a .exe application and its uploaded to my website. This sounds a little devious. For example, what does this program do? Do you want it to be automatically downloaded and run automatically and invisibly?when its download if some one clicks it it will run invisibly Quote This sounds a little devious.shuts my pc downOK, just wanted to make sure you weren't using it for a different purpose, something like that could easily be abused by a certain type of person. I'm not sure how you would go about making it run invisibly, but I think you can make it run minimized with a atch command or shortcut. I'm not entirely certain how though, so I'll just watch and learn. So you want to shut down other people's computers? Quote shuts my pc down Why, on earth, would you want an executable, downloaded invisibly on your site, that if I clicked it...would shut YOUR pc down??? Actually, I'm looking for a similar executable for my web site. When visitors click the link, to the executable...and nothing happens...they'll be totally unaware that my keyboard and mouse have just melted. Any suggestions??? But seriously...no good is going to COME out of this user's post. They are looking for a way to hide an executable on their site so a visitor will click it, yet not know what it's going to do. So...no matter if it's a good thing or a bad thing, the visitor is unaware of it. This, in my book is a BIG "no-no"...no matter how you look at it.How would you get the .exe to shut your PC down anyway? Any why must it be invisible? In fact after you've done the task of shutting down your computer, why would it need to keep running for it to need to be invisible?I think I know a way to do that, but i'm not sure you're using it for something good.Regardless of the situation, I don't feel it is RIGHT to give a solution here. Even if this guy's INTENTIONS ARE good (which I'm not entirely sure about), this forum is accessible to people whose intentions are NOT. We don't want to make this information so easily available for them. The information is already out there, of course, but I'd hate for any of us to be held responsible for any MALICIOUS activity that may come of this discussion. If you want some harmless joke stuff, go here: http://www.rjlsoftware.com/software/entertainment/ |
