Answer» In XP, you could CREATE folders in your Start Menu with shortcuts in the folder. When you selected the folder, it would expand so you could select either a shortcut in that folder or another subfolder:
In 7, the best I can do is add a folder to the Start Menu, and when I select that folder, it OPENS the folder in another Explorer window... Instead of the nice and easy way of just having it cascade.
Is there a way to do that? The start menu folders are stored as a normal filesystem at %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu. add/remove/delete folders as you please.Yeah, that's still not right...
That's click the Start Menu, select "All Programs", scroll to the folder, then click...
Isn't there a way so the folder POPS in the initial Start Menu, a LA XP?The only way I know of to get the fly-out MENUS in Windows 7's start menu is to install Classic Shell.
