Solve : Explorer keeps crashing?

Answer»

Hi,
I posted earlier about Windows Explorer CRASHING, unfortunately I didn't get any replies but in the event I managed to find a cure after I googled my problem.

The origional problem was the Explorer kept crashing and named xvid.ax as the problem, as said above I SEEM to have solved that problem but now Explorer has moved onto pastures new, it now constantly "needs to close" and now names netshell.dll It started after I fired up my computer yesterday and this morning it constantly COMES up with the "Need to close" message, I've rebooted and it seems to have settled down for a while but I'm sure it will be back.

Help Please as it's driving me madIt's possible netshell has become corrupt...is this also affecting connectivity ? ?

Go to Start/Run and type in sfc /scannow and hit Enter...have your XP CD handy as it will ask for it.
Let it FINISH...remove the cd and re-boot.
