Solve : Explorer wont refresh?

Answer»

Hey guys, im having a problem with Windows not REFRESHING itself

eg:

When i move a file, it stays at original destination and doesnt show up at final destination until i manually press F5 (refresh).

On my home computer it does it automatically, actually it does it on all the PC's ive been on xD.

Im using Win XP SP3, there are no updates available so im guessing its a setting.

Any help would be great THANKS Please download SystemLook from one of the links below and save it to your Desktop.

========== reg ==========

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Update]
"UpdateMode"= 0x0000000001 (1)

-=End Of File=-

no idea what any of this means lolRight click on UpdateMode, click Modify, and change the value to 0 (zero).

Restart computer.this feels like such a dumb question but where is update mode?, i can see it in the text file, but that is just a txt file, no idea where original file isI'm sorry for not being clear.
Go Start>Run, type in:

Click OK.

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Update
