Is it possbile to get external ram for windows ex pavilion 452.uk i have checked some sites on the net but i have no clue what to do i know once i get some new ram my pc will run much faster well and a new hard drive Have you considered upgrading your ram in situ?

According to this you can go up to 2Gb so whats with the 'external ram'?I think the problem is that they do not know how to install SAID RAM, or what they need.
External RAM is not possible (not feasible, certainly).
Go to crucial.com and use their memory adviser tool, that will tell you what type of RAM you need.
Then you can buy it DIRECTLY from them or from somewhere else.
As for installing the RAM, Google for "how to install RAM" and you'll find out in no time.
