i added another version of windows because i was unable to download microft express.   :-/ my new version downloaded everything better but did not get sound.  i did some crazy partition. when my computer lap  starts i have to SCROLL to choose this version.  since i was using all the space on the hard drive i tried to uninstall the add on and crashed.   it wouldnt repair. in MS DOS how can i clean it up or remove it? backup and reload sorry thats the only THING i knowbackup my car etc. ..can you be more detailedDo you have a copy of Windows to reload everything? It may be too buggered up to repair this mess. I think the above poster MEANT this. Do you have all of your data backed up? If not, now would be the time.i have xp. i put an operating disk for it .it wont open but ms dos. when i F2. i wish to uninstall  it i open windows and scroll down to open my  original windows application, otherwise the newly created automatically wont open but ms dos.  this is an inspiron. i am using up the hard drive with two xps?  can dos regulate or uninstall the newly added application? :-?You do not have DOS. You have XP which included command prompt. What about backing up your files and REINSTALLING? Do you have the necessary CD for this?
