Solve : Extraxt from a DLL?

Answer»

I GUESS this is the BEST place to post it.

Shell32.DLL contains all the default windows icons.
Is there a WAY to extract them?
USE Resource Hacker.let us know how you goHaha, why didnt I think of that? Ive had that program for so long.
It worked! I just opened it and in the icon folder is every icon. Then I just can save them. I got most of what I needed.
Well, thank you!

Anyone know where to find windows exe/dll/whatever that displays the box when you click shutdown? Im just trying to find the icon/image/whatever that represents restart(green with LINES in a circle)Quote from: skeddles on October 23, 2007, 07:28:58 PM

In ResHacker, click on File, Open and look for:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\msgina.dll

Then go to:

Bitmap
- 20150
- 1033

All icons should be there.

Good luck.Quote from: dairyman on October 23, 2007, 07:59:18 PM
