Answer» If i restore my computer to factory SETTINGS will i lose windows sp2 and everything else. I dont mind LOOSING any custom settings or files and folders but i do not know if i will loose windows itself. If i do restore to factory settings will it solve problems like BSOD on DRIVER problem so ican just start all over again with a fresh slate. :-/ WINDOWS SP2.Yes ...with a restore you will have to reinstall SP2 and all security upates and hotfixes. This will ALSO involve re-installing whatever programs you have currently so be sure to back up any important data... Basically the machine will be like it was new out of the box. patio. 8-)If you have no Windows or Restore CD then you will lose everything.cheers WONT be doing that then.
