Answer» After installing a SHAREWARE program, I can no longer click on an excel spreadsheet and have the spreadsheet automatically load excel and run the spreadsheet. I tried reinstalling excel - no HELP. I looked at the file associations and they all seem ok. I am USING excel 97 and Windows 2000. Any ideas on how to fix this?Bill: You may restore a backup (if you made one with the MICROSOFT Backup utility prior to installing the software). You may also restore a copy of the registry (if you exported one prior to the installation). You may also try uninstalling the program that caused the problem.
