Answer» I know there's a CMD command to print out the directory structure of ONE directory.
Is there a way to print out (at least to a TXT file) the directory tree of an entire HD? Running XP SP2, but I have a SLAX LINUX disc as well. With Linux, the command in most shells is ls -lr for a recursive listing of any folder/subfolders. In XP, the command is tree /f.Thanks. And - to show that I didn't learn nuthin' today - if I type "tree ?" it tells me that if I do the "tree" command without the /f it gives me only directories and subdirectories, and not files as well.
ThanksSpot on. I really don't think you want every file on your hard DRIVE listed. I have... let's see... 80,000+ files and counting... Now, Dilbert, you're an expert, so you MUST envisage a redirect of the huge file list to a file for further processing; no need to patronise the enquirer!
