It's a great, if slightly dated, little app. Instant returns. Quote from: Allan on December 01, 2010, 03:50:32 PM I've been using Rocket Retriever for file search since Windows XP first came out. Yes, but I was TELLING you about an old dog (Rocket Retriever). No need to teach it new tricks. And anyway, Microsoft can't touch Lassie. Well okay, maybe they can - but they'd have to dig him up first (she was a he, you know). I can see that this thing about the dog has taken over. I have read everyone input and appreciate everyone's advice. But what I want is exactly what I had on XP for a file search. I liked how easy and how fast it was. It would be cool if you could take something that you liked from one operating system and put on another. I hope one DAY I will be able to buy operating system with features I want. |
