Solve : files to restore customized settings in Outlook?

Answer»

I'm running Windows XP Home and Internet Explorer browser. My question is - can i somehow restore my customized MS Outlook (2002) settings/profiles etc after having STUPIDLY restoring the default settings last night. i now have no email anything (program/profile/emails/contacts etc) after restoring all Office stuff to default. I didint have system restore on but did do a backup of my entire C drive a week prior if that is any help. I did start to try to restore from my backup drive but not really sure which files to restore Outlook from Windows backup (which is new and was an add in form the original disc) and i think it has lost track of all my preferences? the reason i did any of this was that when (for whatever reason), in Outlook an error occured and i was directed to use the "repair inbox tool", which i couldnt find (so used help in Outlook, then restore and repair or something and then eventually ticked both options a) to repair Office errors and then b) to restore default settings)sstuuupidly. i had also been trying to open an excel file previous to this, when a wizard STARTED trying to load something from XP Professional Frontpage (I have XP Home). I cant exactly remember the ORDER this all went in and may have used some incorrect WORDING but i HOPE this makes sense to someone. Please excuse my lack of knowledge - I AM A ROOKIE! I would be very grateful for any help you can give me. cheers
