Being a total newbie can someone EXPLAIN Firefox to me and do I have it on my system, everyone goes on about it but I don't think I've ever used it. Vista home pro 36.its a superior replacement to internet explorer which comes with your pc

google firefox and download it then install like a regular program
then use it instead of ie cause its better :-DSo I should replace internet explorer for Firefox? Is that better?i wouldnt replace. just use instead of. some websites are still not up to date with firefox and can only be viewed in ie so keep both but use firefox as your default browserNEVER remove IE. I dont even know if it can actually be fully removed. Sometimes you will get some issues if you get rid of IE. I myself prefer IE over firefox, but usually firefox is a little safer since most ATTACKS are on IE.I have Norton which seems to pick up most problems.... seem to get a trojan a day at the moment lol. Will firefox PUT me in a better, safer position guy's? THANKS for the help by the way!Usually what sites you visit will give u VIRUSES, but all in all firefox is the safer bet.
