I have never been so frustrated with a browser as I have with FF. A few versions back it was my favorite, now it is [emailprotected]##$$%^&*()
I want to pull my hair out!!!
After many popups urging me to install new ver5, I finally did yesterday. Big mistake! I started using it on my favorite Webkinz sites and needed to use back button and realized it does not work nor does the address bar when changing from one page and/or site to another. I totally removed FF ,UNINSTALLED with Revo and started from scratch, I did not realize that I would loose all my bookmarks.
Ad Block Icon does not show any where so I thought maybe that filter it wanted me to install controls the ads rather my having control. I can't uninstall it so uninstalled, removed , uninstalled, removed all and now every time I try to install Ad Block the filter is still there.! Firefox support has no help what so ever. I have done everything I can think of and just know that someone here can help me. It seems that when I GET one thing working just great on this machine I run into another problem.
I do apologize for venting so strongly. Please just overlook my rantings.
Thank you. I will follow your directions to the word. Why not just uninstall it and reinstall a version you liked? I still use 3.6 and refuse to upgrade.I did reinstall ver 4 which I had before yesterday and the NAVIGATION bar and back/forward buttons did not work after reinstalling it. I had a very difficult time finding the ver 4 as well. I now have it saved in my documents.
I am willing to trying install of it again if it will start working everything properly.I think I found the problem. I had installed this really nice Bible Guide Toolbar. When I disabled it the Navigation bar began working. I guess I should say this problem is resolved.I AGREE, when i started using firefox 4 i found soo many problems, and now 5? Not because mozilla encourages you to use the newer version, that means thats the best there is..

I use Firefox 3.6 and havent had problems with it. Maybe sometimes with some flash videos but not all the time.
I also use Opera i think its a very nice browser too.

Not neccessary.Patio, I don't understand your post/comment. What are you talking about 200, 000?. I did not post anything with 200,000 in it. And I always post within the box. There is not any way for me to post out of the box.
