So I imported some BOOKMARKS from my Laptop running Ubuntu OS (an html file). After doing this, everything was still working fine at this point. Later I decided I didn't need the bookmarks from Ubuntu, so I restored the bookmarks using a backup 'json' file I MADE on my XP prior to doing this. After the restore, I ran into a problem. When I GO to "show all bookmarks", nothing is there. Also, when I click on the star in the omnibar to bookmark a PAGE, it just flashes yellow but does not stay yellow, and does not bookmark the page. Also, my 'json' files seem to have disappeared!
A few QUICK notes:
I haven't lost my bookmarks
I am running firefox 7.01
No changes after disabling addons
I have CCleaner which I run often
Using different/older restore points does not fix anything
