Answer» The folder on my START menu, titled MY PICTURES, will not show the images saved in the said folder but only a blank white page. On the other hand, if I open the icon titled MY PICTURES on the desktop, all the saved images pop up on screen. How to rectify this please?
Thank you all.Is this what you mean? Maybe you have TWO separate folders for pictures.
[year+ old attachment deleted by admin]YES, that's it. What I want to do is delete the wording MY PICTURES in the menu obtained when I hit the START button and replace it by the folder MY PICTURES whose icon is on the desktop. As things stand with me at the moment, the MY PICTURES folder listed in the menu when I hit the START button is an empty folder and i do not want to put images into it.
hope this clrifies the matter and grateful for yr patience.

I be 74 the end of this year. Here is another screen shot. I added some arrows. the YELLOW ones point to the 'My Pictures' folder. You can change the name of an shortcut icon on the desktop. You can also change its properties so it points to some other kind of thing or place. The built-in icon on the start menu I can not change, except to change its name only. Some items on the start menu you can add or remove, but not the My Pictures. Actually, this is a WAY to remove it. But why not just rename it to something like "Empty"
Maybe somebody else will tell you how to fix the target for 'My Pictures' in the right hand start menu.
[year+ old attachment deleted by admin]MANY thks again. Your method worked wonderfully.
