Solve : Folders not associating to Win Explorer?

Answer»

I have been testing out some File Managers and in the process I must have un-associated my Folders from opening with Windows Explorer. Every time I click on a folder I get the open with dialog with the always use this GRAYED out. If I right click on the folder and click on "explore" I get the proper association. Any help offered is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

HOpen Windows Explorer.
# Click Tools, Folder Options, then click File TYPES.
# From the list, locate the entry FOLDER with extension of (NONE).
# Click Advanced, select Explore, then Set Default
# Click OK and close the dialog.Did that to BEGIN with to no avail. However, since the post I found a registry entry on Doug Knox's site to fix the registry setting to resolve the problem. Thanks for your input.
