Solve : Format without CD?

Answer»

I have a THINKPAD T60p running XP, and i need to reformat. Unfortunately for me i can't find the XP cds. Is there any way to reformat without the cds? I heard there was a partial recovery feature in the data recovery program of IBM's thinkpad LAPTOPS, but i'm not sure if it requires the XP cds.
thanks for any help.If your laptop has a D: drive for MFR system restore, it will likely not need the CD's. Be sure to BACKUP your data on different media before a restore.http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Rescue_and_Recovery
