Solve : Formating the rest of CD for use in all players.? |
|
Answer» I formatted part of a CD using Windows and mistakenly selected the "only will be read by this computer OPTION." Now, when I put the disk in and left click the mouse over the folder there is a format option but I don't KNOW what to select so that what I put on there now will be readable in my car(because what is on the disk now is not). How exactly do you format PART of CD? How exactly do you format PART of CD? I guess that answered my question. I'm prompted when I use a blank/new CD whether I want it to play on all computers and CD players, or if I want to use it to STORE INFO for just my computer. Which can only be read by my computer. I know one of these is called mastered but I don't know which one. Well, I accidentally choose the option to format for only my computer. Where it will not play in my car. From what I can figure there's lots of free space on the disk and my question was how to use the rest of the space the way I want to. Which is formated to play in my car. You know what's funny is I'm a Petty Officer 2nd class. If that is analogous to computer knowlegde, then in the NAVY I wouldn't be able to find the boat. You didn't answer my other question, but if it's CD-R, once formatted and written to, you're done. It can't be undone. CD-R can be written to once. You need new, blank CD.Yea-it's CD-R.As I said, you need new, blank CD. |
