Solve : formatted windows laptop need help getting files can it be done?? |

Answer» GOOD morning, I recently had an ISSUE where my computer wouldn't GET online, so I called the manufacturer. While troubleshooting I was advised to format the hard drive once informed that I would loose my files I cut off the computer during the process. I now receive an error message during start up that windows failed to start due to corrupt files. Are my files lost is there any way to retrieve them?Sadly you may be outta LUCK... One thing you can try is remove the drive...connect it in an external HDD enclosure to a working desktop PC and see what data if any is left... If that fails then a data recovery service (expensive) is your only other Option. |
