Answer» ok when trying to format my hard DRIVE and reinsall WINDOWS xp, i have placed the windows xp CD in the CD drive and i opened BIOS and set the CD drive as the first bootable device. however, as the compuer boots, it says "Press any key to boot from CD...". i continually press enter and other keys but the windows XP CD doesnt load, and the computer REVERTS instead to booting from the hard drive. there is nothing wrong with the CD because it loads normally with the installation setup screen on windows xp. is there possibly something wrong with my keyboard, whereby it doesnt function properly when the computer is booting? it does function perfectly fine when i am using windows on the same computer, like at the moment. or is there a problem with the way in which BIOS responds when i CHANGED the first bootable device to the CD drive? please give me any help u can. cheers.Try using a keyboard that has a ps2 connection not USB or wireless.
