I have a Compaq Presario 5000 with Windows XP Home Edition. When you do anything it will sometimes just look up. Both CD Drives act like they are trying to read something but aren't. And every now and then one of the CD Drives will just pop open for no REASON! I've scaned and scaned and there are no viruses. thanks freaky thing!!!Have you opened computer chasis? Maybe a cable is not properly plugged in... (better ask a tehnician from Compaq or from where you buyed your new Compaqs).
When did you buyed your computer? Have you changed a lot of programs on it? When did you installed the last time Windows?
