Answer» Recently installed XP SP3 back onto my netbook and I was wondering if there were any good light-weight free anti-virus and firewall software out there. I used to use AVG but the recent version is really heavy on my netbook system, and I used PC Tools Firewall Plus last time but it was quite irritating. What does everyone recommend?I still use PC-Tools and it works for me. But.. you have lots of choices. Bitdefender Antivirus Plus Kaspersky Anti-Virus PANDA Antivirus Pro AVG Anti-Virus Avast! Pro Antivirus There are free versions of some of the above. To MENTION just a few. You have to decide. I also like Avast.Cheers, if PC Tools Plus is good enough for you THOUGH, then it should be FINE for me. I'll try it out and if I get serious performance problems I'll use something else.Been using MSE since it came out and haven't turned back.MSE MalwareBytes SuperAntiSpyware Win Patrol Stinger on demand scanner... My current package...all Free and zero issues...Period.
