With Programs and Software, try looking in START --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs. From there you can uninstall programs. With all your Data, a SHIFT + Delete will do.you could do a clean install of windows if you got the original disks too..... bring the laptop back to brand new condition almost except for the battery life will still be the same and not like when you first bought it... however certain BACKGROUND processes/programs that are removed in a clean install could and may increase battery life due to less processing taking place.
