Solve : Games crashing?

Answer»

Ok first i do not know very much about computers and such.

So Probably half a year ago me and my uncle to my computer to the geek squad. I don't remember what was wrong. But anyway they give it back and its supposed to be fixed. But when i installed my old games. None of them will play. Like they will start up then just go black. And i have to press the Ctrl Alt Delete thing to get out of it.

For example i bought the game red orchestra and it downloaded then when i went to play it. It WOULD start up. then just go black. so i gave the guy my system specs and he told me my graphics card was old. and told me to change the rendering. so i did and now that game is fine. But none of my other games will play. If someone will tell me how to post my system specs i will. but i forgot how to.
thanks!Please, post some computer info:
- processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, HIT Pause/Break key)
- hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "PROPERTIES")
- security programs in use (antivirus, firewall)
- Windows version

Why wasn't the computer returned to the Geek Squad, if it wasn't working correctly?Processor Type - Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
RAM - 2.00 GB
hard drive size - capacity 500,105,736,192 BYTES 465 GB
Windows vista home basic

And i dont know. My uncle does all my computer needs.I'm afraid, we'll need some more info from your uncle...what was wrong with the computer, and why it wasn't fixed 100%.Yep.
We definitely need to know wgat....You're here already?Still...
