Unless you have the Original Windows XP CD, we cannot help you further. yeah i have the originla ws xp CD . i dunno how i can re-install it without the dvd/cd drive not load or reading cd/dvds :SBorrow ANOTHER CD/DVD drive and install a legit version of XP if you need continued ASSISTANCE here. Windows XP is not legally downloadable, full stop. The "final version" of XP is either RTM back in 2001 or SP3 in 2008, depending which way you look at it. Either way, it's not "Vision XP". Sounds to me like this pirated version couldn't read disks, are you sure that you can't boot from a disk? that means boot, not put it in and try to read it under Windows.ok thanks for the reply calum i BOUGHT a new dvd burner now it works fine but prior to format my old dvd burner was working alright. but for other problems i fixed them myself thanks for nothing the common task pane i just changed the theme to vista it works fine the link issue i had pop up block activated turned it off it works now Quote thanks for nothing Thanks for the attitude. Incorrect. Windows XP is not legally downloadable, full stop.
