Answer» I have Windows XP. Few weeks ago computer completely locked up, restarted it in Safe Mode. Now, I am unable to do some things without GETTING the response "Your computer may be in Safe Mode..must GET out of that to see.."whatever it is I am trying to do. It is not a video ISSUE, I do not have the large fonts, etc, that some people have mentioned may be the true problem. Thanks Boot up PRESSING F8 and select Enable Command PROMPT type scanreg /restore. Restore the registry to a date before the problem started.
