I recently installed the windows 7 beta on my computer with dual booting.

My primary os, windows xp, is on my first partition (C:), and windows 7 was on my SECOND partition (D:). Later on I decided to get rid of windows 7, so being unexperienced and all, I formatted my D partition through windows xp. However, now when I boot up my computer, I still get the screen asking my which os to use. I was just wondering if there is a way to get rid of this screen, without any reinstalling of operating systems.

First, does it show a time delay?
And second, is the default choice your previous version of Windows?

Right click My Computer, go to PROPERTIES.
Click the "Advanced" tab.

System Startup.
Select default OS. Change the seconds to 3, never set to 0! If something goes wrong, this is a nice thing to be able to access...XP professional is the only os listed under default os.

When i boot up my pc, I get 2 options; previous version of windows, and windows 7...

windows 7 is the default there, and there is a 30 sec time delay.....

I tried the boot.ini in xp and check all boot paths, but windows 7 isn't listed there...
