Ok, I couldn't make the title extremely descriptive, as it's a long problem. I help my mom with computer stuff. Networking, setting up, troubleshooting the works. I'm pretty proficient at this, but LATELY, I've come across a problem. She and her assistant use two computers, and want the same emails on them. For reference, her main email will be referred to as SCemail. Gmail for the other. I simply set up one regularly, and then made a gmail account on the other that forwarded the SCemail messages to the gmail account on her OE. This works perfectly, except for one thing. When she composes a message on the gmail account in OE, it is sent from the gmail account. However, when she sends it off the gmail site, it sends from the email I set as default, SCemail. Any ideas on how to make composed messages come from SCemail, and not her gmail?

She then goes to computer two. It's not there. Why wouldnt it be there? It would just show it as "read".it just isn't, never has. I'd assumed it was just an error that happened to everyone. There must be something wrong with your email account or something.

You would have to be logged out of Gmail on computer1 before going to COMPUTER2 - or else Gmail will think someone is hacking into the account. Therefore, two people cant be emailing at the same time.I think I must have mis-said something. The Gmail account is through OE. sorry about that  .

Did you read this?Eh, so with IMAP the messages will SYNC to both computers?Yes it should if you do the same (what the page I gave you told you to do) for OE on both computers.Ok, here's an update with a few issues. OE was just not cutting it, so we upgraded to Outlook 2007. I set up the email, it works fine, except for one thing. Sometimes the email will come to both computers, sometimes only one. If I reset up the other Outlook, would this solve this problem? Also, when trying to export messages and contacts from OE, I get the MAPI error. ANYWAY to fix that?
