Answer» Hello!
I have two .mdx files to move from my harddrive (160GB NTFS) to my external hard drive (1TB FAT32). These files are on 5gb + 7gb. I have Winrar (evaluation copy) installed on my pc, and I KNOW that it is POSSIBLE to use this software to create many diffrent "Pieces" of the ORIGINAL file/s/.
What I'd like to know is if there's a way to move files bigger than 4gb to my external harddrive without using winrar all the time.
And no. I don't have the possebility to convert the external harddrive to NTFS. I have like 300-400gb DATA on it, which must be stored there. (Even have programs installed there since my C:\ drive is 10gb from full.)
Thanks! You keep changing your sig - don't you? Don't PUT any spam there, will you? Since FAT32's maximum file size is one byte less than 4GB, you would have to use some kind of file splitter. There are plenty of them around, Gsplit is one. It's free.
If you know this...
