Solve : got the Blue Screen of Death--blues? |

Answer» I was trying to shave down contents of DRIVE using windows ME, shaved it way too close, corrupted it and now have the blank BSOD. Before doing the final shave I partitioned the drive and so I believe still have a bootable copy of the C drive on partition named E. I chose to make it a primary partition. Computer will boot only to C or A and the A boots to C. Thanx for boot. I surmised that was what I was going have to do reformat c dump another op sys go get E anc copy to another drive. If that doesn't work, maybe blow it all off and put on Linux. ciao Just copying an OS from one partition to another will never work...if it was installed to the C: partition you MAY get lucky but i think this is an exercise in futility... |
