I defrag my drivea alot. I NOTICED my work computer has very little of the green "unmovable" files, but my hame computer seems to have a ton of disc space occupied by these files. Both are XP - however one is Home, and one is Pro. What do these files contain, and why so much on my home pc?which ones home and which is pro?? sorry - work comp has XP Proi think its because xp pro has more features/files that deal with how your computer works then home does and thats why you see more green. i think the green are system files. have you tried going windows defrag for detailed DESCRIPTION on the what the colored lines mean?my home computer is the one w/ all the green - that's the wierd thing.
