Hey Guys i RECENTLY turned on my computer to a boot faliure screen telling me it cant find root/windows/system32 Hal.DLL The FILE is MISSING or currpt I havent done any major changes i Run a AMD anthlon x2 and the disk is sata, Im not RUNNING a multi install either, I Can not boot on the disk so i cant open a console to copy it over i also can not boot on safe mode, debugging mode, ect.. This is really anoying but if you can tell me whats happening or how to fix it it will be much appreciated, Thank youDo you have an OS install cd?

Ok I Insterted my Setup disk, went SYSTEM recover consol, and type in

Expand D:\I386\Hal.Dl_ C:\windows\system32

And im like finally it going to work but it goes "access denied" it didnt prompt me to log in at all how can i log myself in,

Thanks Its not allowing me to run the LOGON command even, well it lets me just nothing hapens at all James,
