Answer» I had just installed a new HARD disk and install xp into that new nard disk. But the name of my old hard disk is in blue colour :: Local Disk(E:) instead of the normal black colour i THINK it got to do with the ownership.. or something ELSE.. if got any related link that can solve this problem pls TELL meThe blue color usually signifies compression. Green = encrypted so that only one user can view the files. Blue = Compressed to save space. It's a good idea with WINDOWS XP to compress just a folder and it's contents instead of compressing an entire drive. Compression saves space but slows Windows' reaction time when accessing files in a compressed drive or folder.
